Πυθαγόρειος φιλόσοφος. Ο Πλούταρχος τον αναφέρει με την επισήμανση ότι τόσο αυτός όσο και οι μαθητές του δεν έτρωγαν ψάρια, επειδή είναι άφωνα, καθώς ο Α., αλλά και όλοι οι πυθαγόρειοι, θεωρούσαν τη σιωπή θεϊκή ιδιότητα.
